All Aboard the Polar Express!

This term in Jellyfish Class, we’re stepping into a magical winter adventure with our Polar Express theme! The highlight of the term will be a very special trip to the local cinema for a private screening of The Polar Express — look out for the letter coming home soon with all the details.

In Science, we’ll be learning all about Animals, including Humans, exploring what all living things need to stay healthy, how we grow and change, and how to take care of our bodies.

Our History lessons will take us back in time to discover the story of the very first Christmas card and learn about Sir Henry Cole, the man who started this festive tradition.

In Art, we’ll be experimenting with shading and colour mixing to create beautiful winter-themed artwork inspired by our Polar Express journey.

Through RE, we’ll be exploring the meaning of Christmas and finding out how this special celebration is marked in different parts of the world.

For PE, remember your kits on Wednesdays and Fridays — we’ll be keeping active with dance and rugby, perfect for staying warm through the winter months!

It’s going to be a wonderful, creative and festive term full of discovery, teamwork and a touch of Christmas magic!
